This policy explains what information Tripcost ("we", "us") collects when you use tripcost.in, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
- Usage data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit) for security and performance. If we add analytics, we will use it only to understand how the site is used, and we will update this policy first.
- Calculator inputs. The calculators run in your browser. We do not store the trip details you enter.
Cookies
Tripcost does not set advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address under Google's privacy policy.
How we use information
To answer your messages, keep the site secure and working, and improve our content. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that run the site (such as our web host and email provider), or when required by law.
Retention
Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Email hello@tripcost.in.
Children
Tripcost is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
